Recently the Blues a police magazine claiming to be the world’s largest with over three million readers at some point attacked a local political activist and key witness, Kenneth Williams, aka Costa Loca on Facebook. But they made everything worse by also attacking one of Houston’s beloved and innocent brands – Costco.
I’m sure Costco wasn’t happy about it after it was reported to them and some of the Blues readers and followers were just as unhappy with one or more local persons calling them out publically for the Facebook post. No one was happy about the attack on Mr. Williams.
However, it appears after a few days that the Blues removed the post since it no longer appears on their Facebook page where it was originally posted.
The Blues even went so far as to block one or more of their detractors in a knee jerk childish reaction on Facebook which didn’t solve anything. Nothing is ever really 100% blockable on the internet especially on Facebook. Other means were used to verify the status of the post.

The hubris of the Blues magazine and its staff needs to be addressed the post doesn’t rise to the level of a parody, misappropriated an innocent trademark/brand, and was a flat out attack on Mr. Williams. He is the original reporting party and witness to the transgressions which are allegedly committed high misdeameanors and/or felonies made by Jimmy Fullen who is unfortunately the current Sheriff of Galveston county.
There is truth in Mr. William’s complaints because TCOLE has taken actions to remove Fullen’s peace officer license. So based on TCOLE’s actions the word “allegedly” is used here, but the fact is if Fullen didn’t break the law TCOLE would not be doing what it’s been doing for over a year now. TCOLE actions, information shared through public records, and information provided by Mr. Williams and others lead people to see the allegations against Fullen are true. Why else would TCOLE make all this effort?
Fullen should resign from office.
The Blues owes Mr. Williams a full written apology in their next issue and on social media. They need to consider firing the person that made the post on Facebook attacking Mr. Williams. They should grow a pair and use the block button on social media for really bad actors not people calling them out on a potentially slanderous and trademark infringing post. In both cases the persons complaining about the post probably saved the Blues losers some heartache. Since surely Costco would have hung them out to dry over the Facebook post. Ooops! I’d imagine they could not hit the Facebook delete button fast enough. However, the post is preserved here and probably elsewhere.
Boycott the Blues, advertisers, and sponsors! How you can help…
In the meantime lets show these people we mean business and express your incredible displeasure in the Blues actions by contacting their advertisers/sponsors with the information provided here. Remind them that cops and former cops should not be attacking and discrediting a witness in an active an ongoing investigation or prosecution. It’s really disturbing if you think about it. And definitely sad and unexpected unprofessionalism potentially from both active duty and retired cops!
Boycott the Blues and their sponsors. Make your voice heard. Don’t let the bullys win!
It’s time for truth and justice for all – not for people with money. They think they are in control, but you are not them. Take control by participating in this boycott.
God has our back. Rightousness wins in the end. These people at the Blues have no power, their sponsors have no power, and the people backing them with their money have no power. Only God does. God bless the people that stand against their tyranny and bullying!

Own it. Apologize. Take your criticism and grow from it. Make the Blues more about news and not some political hit piece or ego expander (Fullen Sheriff of the year – calling bullshit on that designation).
